Since February 2009 Peter Larkin of Munro
Draughting Ltd. has been our only source for the production of
our drawings. During this time we have found him to be hard
working, diligent and conscientious. He has given 110% in
commitment to the task in hand to the extent of suggesting
cheaper and better ways of accomplishing the design tasks given
to him. He has liased with our suppliers in obtaining technical
details for the drawings thereby allowing C.D. Bissell
Engineering to get on with other matters. He is easy to get on

In the recent extreme business
conditions, we found the need to reposition our business to
focus on major Utility Contractors and Water PLC's.

Peter Larkin produced the design drawing
for the first fully operational version of the Naiad Copperas
Saturator developed by Naiad Aqautic Environmental Services in
conjunction with Thames Water to dissolve ferrous sulphate for
chemical dosing.
The drawings were produced accurately and
promptly and Peter managed to interpret and decode what were
often sketchy or attenuated instructions. His costs were
reasonable and always fully explained and he made great efforts
to ensure that he delivered on time. Peter always took an
interest in what the drawings he was producing represented and
often made useful comments or additions to the product.
He has a 'can do' attitude and I would have
no hesitation in commending his technical design and drawing
skills.

Peter was employed by Hyder Consulting on a
Contract basis and we worked together at Rye Meads during the
period from August 2002 to February 2009. Peter's role was as a
Design Draughtsman and later a Senior CAD Designer.
In this capacity, he produced drawings for
approximately 40 projects, which included detailed designs,
outline designs and feasibility studies. Peter possessed
considerable experience and competence in the preparation of
detailed mechanical design drawings. During the period at Rye
Meads he developed a capability in civil engineering drawings,
electrical drawings and process & instrumentation diagrams and
could be relied on to produce any type of drawing.
Peter performs well under pressure, remains
calm and generally delivers his drawings to the required
deadlines. He is honest and hard working and is prepared to work
outside normal working hours, where necessary, to achieve
deadlines. He is a capable organiser. The fact that he was retained by Hyder and
Thames Water for a period of six and a half years, even though
he was a contract worker, is a testament to the high regard in
which he was held. I would have no hesitation in recommending
Peter to any Client considering retaining his services.
